David McGlynn participated in Audart's "TNT" exhibition. As a fine arts photographer, McGlynn creates photographic collages presenting a rearranged view of architecturally interesting structures and of urban geography. His stunning compositions, many of them portraying the streets and prominent buildings of the Wall Street neighborhood, were well received by visitors to the Audart Gallery, including Mr. Bill Rudin, owner of the New York Information Technology Center, who purchased one of McGlynn's photographs within seconds of viewing his work. David McGlynn's fine art photography has been exhibited extensively in New York galleries since 1985.
His work as a commercial photographer includes editorial, corporate and advertising assignments and commissions and his list of clients is extensive and impressive including Disney/ESPN Zone restaurants in New York City and Baltimore, Fox Network headquarters and AT&T Corporate Headquarters, New York City. Portfolio spreads of his art work have appeared in various publications including Life, Popular Photography , Idea (Tokyo), and Photo District News. McGlynn has also won various awards & contests including the Society of Publication Designers Annual 18, 23, 27, 28 and 30; American Photography Annual 7,10, 11; Graphis Poster 1989 and Grap.
David McGlynn was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from SUNY Purchase in 1979.
