Warhol Factory Women and Other 1960's Divas and Their Unforgettable Style




 A SIMPLE DOT ON A BEAUTIFUL FACE:  AN INFLUENCE OF THE 1940'S

Some women darkened or enhanced existing moles or beauty marks, while others added one wherever they felt it
looked the sexiest or the most glamorous.  The beauty mark on Liza Minelli's fabulous face (above), was added by the editor.  We just couldn't resist!  Did you know that Liza was Andy Warhol's favorite photographic subject?  

Edie Sedgwick's beauty mark may have been natural.  We have never seen a photograph of her without it, but we have noticed variations in size, so she undoubtedly darkened or enlarged it, from time to time.
