Meredith Nieves exhibited her paintings in Audart's "TNT" exhibition in the Spring of 1996 and again in the Summer of 1997.  Her work was highly regarded and a number of Audart patrons became first-time collectors of her work.  Nieves' still-life paintings are richly textured and brilliantly colored.  Many incorporate fruit and vegetables as subject matter and Nieves is particularly adept at personifying their presence on the the canvas so they relate to each other and acquire their own personalities.  The viewer is compelled to travel into the painting; to get absorbed in the patterns and the play of light.

Meredith Nieves has exhibited her work at numerous New York galleries, including Agora Gallery and the Peter's Backyard exhibitions which were organized and curated by Audart. She is a member of the National Association of Women Artists.  Her work is represented online by Irmeli Holmberg.
